Abstract

The current research aimed to
determine the extent of compatibility between the traditional theory of measurement and the two-parameter logistic model in selecting the referenced test items, by identifying the similarities or differences between the two approaches in selecting the items, in terms of the number of items, their level of difficulty and distinction, as well as the validity and reliability of the test.
